The South China International Smart Manufacturing, Advanced Electronics, and Laser Technology Expo (referred to as LEAP Expo) will be grandly held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from October 10th to 12th. Co-hosted by Messe München (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade's Machinery Industry Branch, and the Chinese Optical Society's Laser Processing Professional Committee, LEAP Expo is expected to attract over 300 well-known companies in the industry to exhibit, and more than 20,000 professional visitors from the electronic manufacturing and related industries to attend.

LEAP Expo 2018 integrated three major exhibitions: the Shenzhen International Electronics Manufacturing Automation Exhibition (Electronics Manufacturing Automation Shenzhen), the Munich South China Electronics Production Equipment Exhibition (Productronica South China), and the South China Advanced Laser and Processing Application Technology Exhibition (Laser South China). The SMT demonstration area has been upgraded, with several dynamic production lines making a stunning appearance

As the proportion and demand of domestic intelligent mounting and assembly fields continue to increase in the global market, this sector is gaining more attention. LEAP Expo has specially set up an SMT Surface Mounting Technology Innovation Demonstration Area, featuring dynamic demonstration production lines such as IPC CFX Demo, Lide Innovation, intelligent component insertion lines, and major brands like Panasonic, Yamaha, Acctronics, Mycronic, Rehm, Hanwha, Kurtz Ersa, JUKI, Heller, etc. They will provide a comprehensive interpretation of SMT whole-line solutions to the audience from three major fields: consumer electronics and security, military and aerospace, and smart mobile and automotive electronics!

IPC CFX Demo- After successful demonstrations in the United States and Germany, it will make its debut in China, presenting a fully visual process on-site, offering upstream and downstream enterprises more advantageous solutions and a more complete end-to-end architecture. Each exhibitor participating in the production line at the event will showcase information transfer based on the IPC CFX standard, and visitors will see two different display forms from each equipment supplier in the Demo area. One is the visualization of operational data during manufacturing operations achieved through the CFX standard for information transfer. The other is the creation of visualization of operational data by acquiring CFX data from other devices in the production line, within the specific device's surrounding environment. Additionally, Huawei will provide Huawei Cloud service support for the production line at the venue.
