On April 11th, the second China (Chongqing) Electronic Intelligent Manufacturing and Industry Expo was held at Hall S1 of the Chongqing International Expo Center. Over a hundred outstanding domestic electronic intelligent equipment manufacturing companies and international electronic equipment manufacturers showcased more than 500 precision electronic intelligent equipment and cutting-edge devices. The exhibition covered production equipment for various stages of the electronic manufacturing industry chain, including midstream and end segments. Professional audiences from application fields such as automotive, industry, communication systems, medical, consumer electronics, industrial electronics, power, new energy, aerospace, and rail transit visited the expo.

At the exhibition site, the organizing committee invited electronic manufacturing experts from Japan, Singapore, and domestic areas to conduct on-site "expert diagnostic sessions" covering various aspects such as production line upgrading and transformation, production management, and technical public relations. They provided on-site answers to questions from electronic manufacturing equipment vendors, electronic manufacturing enterprises, and related professionals in the southwestern region. This helped enterprises identify difficulties in daily production and transformation and guided them on methods to resolve these challenges.

This exhibition spans the entire industry chain of electronic intelligent manufacturing. The Southwest debut of the IPC CFX Demo Line (IPC Global Interconnect Factory Data Exchange Standard Demonstration Production Line) is a major highlight of this year's event. The IPC-2591 standard presents a fully visual process on-site, with the IPC—International Electronics Manufacturing Association—leading multiple companies to jointly demonstrate a complete production line, conducting actual production at the exhibition venue. The exhibition venue was bustling with crowds, showing a strong interest and inquiry into the real-time data transmission feedback of the CFX Demo production line. The achievements obtained at the exhibition were remarkable, and the professionalism of the audience was highly recognized by the participating enterprises.

Shenzhen General Technologies Co.,Ltd., in collaboration with several other companies, demonstrated a high-mix, high-reliability, and ultra-wide process window SMT production line at the event. The Lide Innovation Demonstration Production Line provided systematic solutions and value-added services for the "factory of the future." The intelligent component insertion production line showcased how to achieve an orderly, intelligent, and digital production process for components in the SMT application process.

Eleven companies collaborated to create a smart factory process line, demonstrating the entire set of processes from the intelligent material warehouse model to the automated production line under the central system monitoring. The exhibition showcased the real collaboration production process between the information system (MES/WMS) and the intelligent warehouse, production equipment, intelligent logistics distribution, planned production, and operators. Whether it was the smart factory concept area or the hall C3 smart factory area, multiple SMT production lines made a significant appearance, with domestic and foreign equipment exhibitors displaying their prowess on the same stage, each showing their unique strengths.

The expo also hosted the "2019 International Forum on Electronic Intelligent Manufacturing," which invited domestic and international experts and scholars, as well as heads of electronics manufacturing enterprises in the southwestern region, to discuss the development direction of the electronics manufacturing industry and strategies for enterprises to adapt to future industrial changes. They collectively explored the impact of the development of electronic information technology, the revolution of new materials, and AI technology on the electronics manufacturing industry.

At the "China Advanced Electronics Industry Development Summit," a group of elites and experts from microelectronics, printed electronics, electronic new materials, and other companies from all over the country introduced to the attendees the revolutionary developments in electronic technology. They showcased new technological achievements such as paper batteries, printed chips, graphene materials, and more, which amazed and excited the attendees, revealing new directions in electronic manufacturing technology.
